Dr. Margo Machida is Associate Professor of Art History and Asian American Studies at the University of Connecticut. A pioneering scholar, independent curator, and cultural critic specializing in Asian American art and visual culture, her most recent book is Unsettled Visions: Contemporary Asian American Artists and the Social Imaginary (Duke University Press, 2009).

Alexandra Chang is the Director of Public Programs & Research Manager at A/P/A Institute at NYU. She is also an arts writer, filmmaker and independent curator. Her book Envisioning Diaspora: Asian American Visual Arts Collectives was released internationally by Timezone 8 Limited with project partner A/P/A Institute at New York University in 2009.
